Reno beach (Leggiuno)
Reno beach is one of the beaches of Lake Maggiore belonging, together with Arolo beach, to the municipality of Leggiuno.
Reno is a small hamlet on the Lombard coast of Lake Maggiore which is located a few kilometers from the Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso, on the road that connects the tourist center of Angera to the tourist center of Laveno-Mombello.
Reno beach is a sand and pebble beach which, during the summer period, attracts many locals and foreign tourists, becoming almost as crowded as those of the Romagna Riviera.

The view that Reno beach offers on Lake Maggiore is unique: the Borromean gulf with the magnificent archipelago of the Borromean Islands (Isola Madre, Isola Bella, Isola Pescatori, Isolino di San Giovanni and the rock of Malghera) framed by the high peaks of the chain mountain of Monte Rosa.
Reno beach offers various services: hotel, some restaurants (one with a panoramic terrace) and an ice cream parlor.
Adjacent to the beach there are also a rowing gym and a shipyard, where you can rent motorboats to take a trip on Lake Maggiore.
During the summer, we suggest you to park in the town center as there are only about thirty parking spaces on the lakefront subject to a parking disc, which fill up very quickly.
