Cerro beach (Laveno-Mombello)
Cerro Beach is one of the beaches of Lake Maggiore, less than a 5-minute drive from the tourist centre of Laveno-Mombello.
This beach is partly sandy and partly grassy. This is a free beach, with a public shower, and the waters are clean and bathing.
Near the beach, as well as convenient parking, you can also find bars and restaurants. Cerro beach is very popular in summer as it is one of the most popular beaches of Lake Maggiore for tourists and families with children. This is the perfect place for those who like to finish the day with an aperitif or dinner tasting the typical dishes of Lake Maggiore.

On the lakeside you will also find some shops, an ice cream shop and, last but not least, the Midec (International Museum of Ceramics).
From the beach of Cerro, a few minutes by car, you can reach the Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso.
