Hotel Riva is located in one of the most characteristic places on Lake Maggiore, in the Reno di Leggiuno area. Thanks to this feature, it offers a magnificent view of the Gulf of Borromeo and its islands, Stresa and the alpine range of Monte Rosa.

The story behind the Hotel Riva...
The Hotel Riva is one with the territory and with a long family background.
The enterprise began from 1890, its management has reached the fifth generation. Now in charge of the structure are Silvia and Claudio, who perpetuate the tradition inherited from their great-great-grandparents.
Born as a fisherman's tavern, as the owners themselves say, it consisted of a set of 4 typical lake houses that have been gradually enlarged and renovated.
In the early days, there was only one restaurant where fishermen heated themselves, which remained in vogue until the 1970s.
It later became a hotel by the beach: right where once, in the 1930s, the "Reno baths" were located, the first baths in the whole of Lake Maggiore.
Leafing through the album of the hotel, with photos to tell and testify its history, it is also discovered that the footballer Gigi Riva spent his convalescence here between 1969 and 1970.

The hotel enjoys a privileged location at the lakeside with direct access to the terrace and the beach of Reno.
Its Canadian vine arbor is perfect for lounging and relaxing while gazing at the view.
The common areas are cozy and slightly old-fashioned. The wooden corner bar recalls other times and invites you to relax as the look gets lost beyond the large windows.
The 15 non-smoking rooms, of different types, are luminous and offer a total or partial view of the lake. Each room is furnished in a simple and modern way: they have a flat-screen TV and a nice balcony with table and chairs from which to admire enchanting sunsets.
Guests can enjoy a lovely continental breakfast in the morning.
