What to see and what to do in Brezzo di Bedero

Set on the Valtravaglia plateau, Brezzo di Bedero was originally divided into two centers Brezzo and Bedero. Today, it overlooks Lake Maggiore and stretches from the Rocca di Caldè to Pasquè di Bedero between the green valleys, the woods and the Alps in the background.

The entire area offers enchanting beauty and relaxing views, including the Spiaggia comunale, named as one of the twelve best beaches in the province of Varese.

The village is also famous for the local vineyards, whose wine production has roots going back to the '500. Historical memory also testifies to the activity of the population historically linked to the earth. In the hills were cultivated hay, wheat and maize and in smaller quantities also barley, rye, peas, lentils, potatoes, hemp.

Every family in the region also devoted themselves to rearing silkworms.
