Catalina and Paolo, the owners of the apartments at La Casa sul Porto, have always had in their heart the idea of investing in their own accommodation facility capable of hosting and receiving tourists visiting Lake Maggiore.
A few years ago, they discovered a property in the Rosselli condominium in central Laveno Mombello.The renovations began almost immediately and were thoroughly handled by the owners.The building preserves the original features which have been innovatively adapted.In the first months of 2020, work was completed and there are now two apartments for rent with partial lake views.
Due to its location, the name La Casa sul Porto has been chosen, located just meters from the lake and the landing stage Laveno Mombello.Ferries in connection with Intra di Verbania, on the Piedmont side, leave from the disembarkation of Laveno Mombello, allowing the transportation of vehicles.
About the Apartments La Casa sul Porto
The apartments at La Casa sul Porto are named Meltemi and Inverna as the typical Lake Maggiore winds. They have a separate entrance and can be reached by a condominium elevator that can also accommodate prams and strollers. They are about 100 sqm with living room, kitchen, bedroom and en suite bathroom.
The kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, microwave, stove, coffee machine and with all necessary kitchenware such as plates, cups, cutlery, pans and ladles.Clearly, there is a table with chairs, a couch, satellite TV, heating for the winter and air conditioning for the summer. The apartments are covered by a Wi-Fi connection; in the room there is a double bed and a single bed (which can be doubled for a fourth person).It is also a great solution for families with children.
The Meltemi apartment is the first found on the second floor terrace: it overlooks Lake Maggiore, where you can see the two harbors and mountains in the background.Pieces by Chilean artist Inge Schuenemann are displayed on the walls.
Inverna apartment, on the other hand, is situated below the terrace with windows to the east, south and west. It houses two works by the Chilean artist and an artisanal chandelier, built with woods of the lake.On the outdoor terrace leading to the entrance to the apartments, the owners have placed a teak table with chairs where they can enjoy a little relaxing in the open air.
Each apartment is provided with a set of linen and towels, which can then be changed on request and for a fee. An ironing board is available; close to the condo, on the opposite side of the road, there is a laundromat.
Casa sul Porto is centrally located in Laveno Mombello: it is very easy to find free or paid parking nearby. An uncovered parking space is available inside the condominium on demand. Pets are allowed on request.
