The large park of 2 hectares around the villa houses valuable plants and flowers that can give different flowers for each season.This agreeable park is carefully treated with constancy.It is the most relaxing aspect of the house that helps the guest to come into contact with himself and with nature, in a somewhat magical and timeless atmosphere.

The story behind the Casa della Gioia...
Casa della Gioia is a historical noble residence of the second half of the 19th century owned by a Milanese family for three generations.
Initially it was used by the owners as a holiday home where you can spend the summer in the company of friends and relatives away from the chaos of the city of Milan and lulled by the tranquility of Lake Maggiore. The villa is surrounded by nature and offers scenic views over Lake Maggiore.
Since 2019 the villa has been open to the public for various types of events: business meetings or seminars, university courses, meetings and activities related to the holistic world with yoga, tai chi, mindfulness, meditation, tree hugging or music therapy sessions.
The structure is also available for cultural events such as photographic exhibitions, art exhibitions, daytime concerts, private parties for weddings, birthdays, baptisms or for medium and long-term private rentals (from a few days to several weeks) as a holiday home. for different families (groups up to 15 people).
Casa della Gioia is also suitable for thematic or wellness weekends: on request it is possible to have a personal teacher in different disciplines, an on-site cook, a babysitter or a cleaning service.
The house has three floors, the last of which is an attic, for a total of 900 square meters and is surrounded by a centuries-old park of 2 hectares of lawn. Maria takes care of organizing the activities at the Casa della Gioia and, together with Emanuele, one of the current owners, she welcomes guests and checks that everything is done properly.
Casa della Gioia has always been a welcoming place, with a long history to tell. There are many events and curiosities related to this property: for example, it is said that during the war, the house was a point of reference for the locals; the old owners raised a flag in the park as a warning sign indicating the presence of militias in the area.
The character of the Casa della Gioia
Casa della Gioia offers a total of 15 bedrooms on the first and second floors. On the ground floor there is a hall accessible for people with disabilities.The entire structure can host between 20 and 22 people.
There are 4 common bathrooms, two on the first floor, one in the loft and one on the ground floor.Each room has its own name, atmosphere, memory and different views of the garden.
On the first floor there is "La Romantica" beloved of couples or "I due Balconi" that overlooks the wisteria that embellishes the facade.
Very special are also "The Painter's Room" where the old owner, who was a painter, looking at the lake drew inspiration for his paintings, and "La Camera del Lavandino", very bright and equipped with a sink, once fundamental because in that room it was called the birth of the children of the. The rooms are decorated with antiquities selected over the years by the owners.
On the ground floor of the house there are large sharing spaces, perfect for group activities: a large kitchen, two lounges with a fireplace and a green sitting area that can accommodate up to 60 people seated overall.

Casa della Gioia is surrounded by a large park of 2 hectares, the strong point of the house. Entering through the iron gate, along the gravel path leading to the house, you are surrounded by flower beds, colorful flowers, plants and trees that are cared for and looked after with care.
Inside the gate, 8 cars can easily be parked in the private parking lot.
In the garden there is a kiosk heated in winter, equipped with lighting and wooden floors.The structure creates the ideal environment for group work, for seminars or meetings, for parties or for sessions of meditation, yoga or muscular relaxation. In the kiosk there are around 30-40 chairs so it can also be used for lectures or meetings.
In case of long-term private rentals as a holiday home, linen, bathroom accessories and the use of the kitchen with all the utensils available are included in the rental rate. Pets are welcome: the big park around the house is fenced.The owner Emanuele also has two dogs very popular with customers.
In the park there are tables with chairs, wooden benches, relaxation areas with hammocks suspended from the trees, perfect for reading and getting in touch with nature. There is a table tennis table, a barbecue with a wood-burning oven and large chestnut tables and a children's play area.
